An avid dreamer, fitness enthusiast, food lover, and passionate advocate for selfless service, Dr. Sanford brings heart into everything he does — especially caring for children. He first discovered his love for working with kids while attending the University of Georgia, where he mentored and coached students in after-school programs.

Raised right here in McDonough, GA, Dr. Sanford always dreamed of one day serving his own community by providing high-quality dental care to children who may feel anxious about visiting the dentist.

Today, he channels that same enthusiasm into gentle, specialized pediatric care, taking the time to hear about each of his little dreamers’ future ambitions while supporting the healthy smiles that will help them reach for the stars.

FAQ’s

  • We recommend scheduling your child’s first visit by their first birthday or within six months of their first tooth erupting. Early visits help us monitor development and make dental care a positive experience from the start.

  • Most children should visit every six months for cleanings and check-ups. Regular visits allow us to prevent cavities, monitor growth, and keep smiles healthy year-round.

  • Brushing twice daily for two minutes each with fluoride toothpaste, flossing once teeth touch, limiting sugary snacks, and staying consistent with routine dental visits all help prevent cavities.

  • Yes! Fluoride strengthens enamel and helps prevent cavities, while sealants protect the deep grooves of back teeth where decay often starts.

  • Call our office right away. Whether it’s a toothache, chipped tooth, or injury, we’ll guide you on next steps and get your child seen as quickly as possible.
